Intro
Located in the magnificent Glen Nevis, the Steall Falls hike offers an easy adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. This enchanting trail leads you to the iconic Steall Falls, a 120-meter cascade of pure natural beauty.
You can combine this hike easily with the Ben Nevis hike as both trailheads are close to one another. I wouldn't recommend doing them in the same day though.
Start of the hike
This hike starts at the lower falls car park. Alternatively, you can do a much shorter hike by starting at the Ben Nevis car park waterfall.
About the hike
As you set off on the well-marked trail, you'll be captivated by stunning scenery, including babbling streams, ancient woodlands, and rugged terrain.
The highlight of the hike is undoubtedly the magnificent Steall Falls. The trail takes you across a thrilling wire bridge, adding an element of excitement and adventure.
Throughout the hike, keep an eye out for the rich wildlife that calls this area home. You may spot golden eagles soaring overhead, red deer grazing in the distance, or even catch a glimpse of the elusive pine marten.
