The high fens (les haute fagnes) is one of Belgium's biggest nature areas and home to it's highest point (the Signal de Botrange at 694m). The area is a plateau consisting mainly of bogs. Many streams runs down from the plateau into the valleys. On this hike you'll discover some of the most beautiful paths next to these streams that the area has to offer.
About the trail
There is a small parking right next to the road "Route du Roslin". If there's no space here you can try and park at Roquez 49, 4845 Jalhay and start the hike at a different entry point. Most of the hike isn't very busy. However, part of it overlaps with the very popular (but shorter) walk "Promenade de la Hoëgne". Expect lot's of people on the trail here.
